What data we process

The data you give us in the contact, valuation or viewing request forms: name, phone or email, the property or area you are interested in and the message you write. If you write via WhatsApp, also your number and whatever you send us that way.

What we use it for

  • To answer your enquiry and get in touch with you.
  • To value your home and prepare a proposal, if you want to sell it.
  • To arrange viewings and send you information about the properties you are interested in.

We do not make automated decisions or build profiles with your data.

User account

If you create an account on the website, we store your name, your email, your password (encrypted, never in plain text) and the properties you mark as favourites. We use them so that you can log in, see your favourites on any device and, if you ask us to, let you know about news on those properties. The legal basis is the consent you give when creating the account. We keep this data while the account exists: you can delete it yourself at any time from “My account”, and that data is deleted with it.

Blog comments

If you comment on a blog article, we publish next to your comment the first and last name you write (or your account name, if you comment with it) and the date. We also store your IP address and browser details to prevent abuse and spam; they are not published. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. Comments from visitors without an account are reviewed before they are published. We keep the comment while the article is published; you can ask us to correct or delete it at any time by writing to pabloescayola.re@gmail.com.

Commercial communications

Only if you expressly tick the box when creating your account (or later, in “My account”), we will email you property news and commercial communications from Pablo Escayola, in accordance with article 21 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI). It is optional and does not affect the use of the account. We record the date on which you accept or withdraw it. You can unsubscribe at any time from “My account”, with the link included in every email or by writing to pabloescayola.re@gmail.com.

Legal basis

The consent you give when submitting the form and, where applicable, the steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (for example, valuing your home or arranging a viewing).

How long we keep it

For as long as necessary to handle your request and maintain the business relationship, and afterwards for the legal periods during which liabilities could arise. If there is no further relationship, it is deleted after two years at most.

Who it is shared with

We do not share your data with third parties unless legally required. To provide the service we use providers who act as data processors, with the safeguards required by the GDPR: web hosting and the email service. If you contact us via WhatsApp, that communication is also governed by WhatsApp’s (Meta) privacy policy.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to pabloescayola.re@gmail.com and stating the right you wish to exercise. If you consider that your request has not been handled correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
